Provide support to the Activities Department Job Summary The Activities Trainee helps to manage the day-to-day operations of the Activities Team. You as a student will assist the department and ensure total guest satisfaction with providing excellent level of service at all time. Duties and Responsibilities Ø Assist on the day-to-day operations in the Fitness Program. Ø Help with the planning of new classes. Ø Excellent organizational skills and good team player. Ø Ensure safety and security of all guests, especially in the Fitness Classes. Ø Do inventory checks of operating equipment. Ø Inspects the physical condition of sports materials and all activities areas. Ø Ensures all operating standards comply with company policies. Ø Assist to periodic meetings to review procedures with the Activities Team. Ø Assist in the organization of events at resort as required. Ø To be familiar with Activities environment and apply to company standards. Ø Be familiar with all Resort Activities on site. Ø File information. PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENT. Ø Bending, kneeling, running, jumping and climbing of 5 flights of stairs. Ø Visual observation. Ø Walking and working outside of air-controlled areas. OTHER: Ø Arrive in proper uniform with name tag and conduct yourself professionally when on property and ensure that the daily assignments are completed as scheduled. Ø Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work place. Ø Maintain an attitude and commitment to provide excellent service to all customers and associates. Respond sensitively to the needs and feelings of others, regardless of status or position; accept interpersonal differences and maintain a constructive rapport with all associates and customers. Ø Be proactive and have a flexible approach to work, meeting the needs of the team and the business always.
